The ETWHA general membership meeting was held Feb 8 ,2026 at the Smoky Mtn Expo Center, White Pine, TN. The Executive Board and Board of Directors were voted in for the 2026 calendar year. All names have been added to the contact tab within this site. Fund raising ideas were discussed and plans are being made for another fun(d) show. More information to come once the details are complete. We look forward to another successful show season and fund raising year for our charity St Jude Children's Hospital.
St Jude Children's Hospital has been our charity since 2011. Last year we made our largest contribution to DATE. The ETWHA donated $25,000!! to St Jude Children's Hospital.
Help us beat last year's number this year!! With YOUR help we will achieve our goal.
Remember!!! Thank you is not enough but we will say it again, THANK YOU. The children of St. Jude Children's Hospital thank you and every parent that has had a child at St Jude thanks you.

ETWHA Mission Statement
- The members of the East Tennessee Walking Horse Association are a diverse group of people with a common goal. To some of our members the walking horse represents their chosen profession. To others the horse represents their greatest pleasure. The goal of all of us is to secure the future of the walking horse. This is our highest priority.
- Since any organization is made up of individuals with varying opinions and viewpoints, the situation demands of us that we work in the spirit of commitment, cooperation and most importantly unity. Therefore, we agree that to the best of our ability we will do, not what is best for us as individuals, but what is best for the walking horse.
