2024 Show Season and Conversation
I hope everyone enjoyed their time at the TN National Walking Horse Celebration and came home with many wonderful memories. NOW bring on those Fall horse shows, bonfires and snuggly sweaters. Everything for September and October has been updated and posted to the show program page. If you plan to attend any of the fall shows, please help where you can. Each and every show takes hard work, time, volunteers, and sponsorships to help them come to life. Give til it hurts.
As always, I hope the 2024 show season brings you many blue-ribbon rides and the creation of a new friendship. We have all known the love of a good horse and what pleasure they bring to our lives, as well as the friendships we make showing horses. Take time and give thought on the reason we participate in this hobby throughout this year. May we compete for the love of the horse, be humble when we win, and gracious if we lose.
Here's to a great 2024 show season.

ETWHA Mission Statement
- The members of the East Tennessee Walking Horse Association are a diverse group of people with a common goal. To some of our members the walking horse represents their chosen profession. To others the horse represents their greatest pleasure. The goal of all of us is to secure the future of the walking horse. This is our highest priority.
- Since any organization is made up of individuals with varying opinions and viewpoints, the situation demands of us that we work in the spirit of commitment, cooperation and most importantly unity. Therefore, we agree that to the best of our ability we will do, not what is best for us as individuals, but what is best for the walking horse.
