Oh, what a night!!! The 2024 ETWHA High Point banquet was held at the Meadowview Conference and Convention Center in Kingsport, TN January 25, 2025. It had been several years since the banquet was held at this location and it did not disappoint. From the lovely banquet rooms to the sit-down dinner the night went off without a snag. The Walking Horse Report, The Scoop and Natasha Douglas were lined up to take those winning photos. Natasha Douglas offered free downloads of the evening, and the Meadowview had created a location for a more personalized picture taking moment.
There were 47-line classes and nine special awards as well as member voted one night horse show, multi night horse show and sportsmanship awards. Three men were inducted into the Hall of Fame: Mike Carter, Danny Henry and Paul Livingston and a Distinguished Service Award was awarded to Ramona Jackson.
The 2025 general membership was held that morning which voted in a new board of directors that are listed on the contact page. We look forward to a great 2025 show season and hope to see everyone along the rail.

ETWHA Mission Statement
- The members of the East Tennessee Walking Horse Association are a diverse group of people with a common goal. To some of our members the walking horse represents their chosen profession. To others the horse represents their greatest pleasure. The goal of all of us is to secure the future of the walking horse. This is our highest priority.
